The short version

TEEPN is a directory. Browsing it does not require an account, and we do not sell data to anyone.

What we collect

When you browse

Nothing that identifies you. Your filter choices live in the URL in your own browser, not in a profile. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not run third-party trackers.

If you use “Use my location”, your browser asks your permission first. The coordinates are used to sort results by distance and are never stored on our servers.

If you create an account

We store your email address (to sign you in), a display name, and anything you choose to add such as an avatar or a short bio. Sign-in is by emailed link, so we never store a password.

Reviews you write are public, shown with your display name. Saved places are private and visible only to you.

If you submit your café

The partner form stores what you enter — venue name, your name, email, phone, city and message — so we can contact you about the listing. It is used for nothing else.

Information about venues

Listings contain business information: name, address, opening hours, public contact details and our own description. This is information businesses publish about themselves.

If you run a listed venue and want the entry corrected or removed, email teepn@gmail.com and we will action it. We do not require you to justify the request.

Where data is held

Listing content and any submissions are stored with our database provider. Access is restricted by row-level security rules, so a visitor's browser can only ever read published listings — never another person's details.

Leaving the site

Booking a table opens WhatsApp, and menu, map and website links go to third parties. Once you leave, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
