A short, honest explanation of what this site is, how places get on it, and how the ranking is decided.
We visit and write it up
Every listing is written by hand after someone has actually been. Not scraped, not generated, not submitted-and-published. That is why the catalogue grows slowly.
We score how it feels
Each place gets a 1–5 score on every vibe that applies — peaceful, work-friendly, lively, date-friendly. A faintly cosy room and an overwhelmingly cosy one are not the same thing, and most directories treat them as identical.
You filter on what matters
Category, vibe, seating, price, neighbourhood and amenities, all at once. Amenities are strict — tick wheelchair access and parking and you only get places with both.
Venues confirm their details
A verified badge means the venue itself confirmed hours, contact and amenities. It is not a quality score and it is not for sale.
You book directly
The booking button opens WhatsApp with the venue. No middleman, no commission, no account required — the money and the conversation both go straight to them.
What we do not do
- · Sell ranking. Nobody can pay to appear higher.
- · Take a commission on bookings. We never touch the transaction.
- · Aggregate ratings from elsewhere and present them as our own.
- · Claim to be complete. Coverage is deliberately partial.
